All TeacherVUE created notes about the student are available for viewing
and editing on the Student screen Notes tab. New notes can be created
here, as well. Student notes are specific to the school year.
Each note displays the time and date it was created, the teacher who
wrote it, whether the note is public or private, and the content of the
note.
Click or press ENTER. TheSearch Results displays a list
of names matching the criteria.
Double click the line with the desired staff
name. The Find: Staff screen closes and the staff
name displays.
Check or uncheck Note
Private. If the note is not marked as private, an icon
displays on all other TeacherVUE charts for this student for this
same date.
Click on the Teacher
Notes for Student bar. A new blank line is added.
Enter the Note
Date (MMDDYY) or click and select
date.
Enter the Note
Time. It is only necessary to enter the numerals. Synergy
formats the field once entered, i.e., 900 formats as 9:00 AM.
Click in the Teacher
column. The Find: Staff screen opens.
Enter all or part of the Last
Name, First Name.
Click or press ENTER. TheSearch Results displays a list
of names matching the criteria.
Double click the line with the desired staff
name. The Find: Staff screen closes and the staff
name displays.
Check Note
Private, if needed. If the note is not marked as private,
an icon displays on all other TeacherVUE charts for this student
for this same date.
Enter the content of the Note.
Click to spell check. Click for more space.
