Student
Overview:
The Student screen tracks student demographic, parent/guardian, emergency,
enrollment and enrollment history information for each student. This is
where the ability resides to add new students, or transfer in students
from other schools in the district.
Across the top of the screen are two lines of information that appear
on every tab.
The first line contains the student's full name, current school, homeroom,
and homeroom teacher. If there is a situation regarding legal custody,
Custody! appears in red in this line. This information appears on
any student-related screen.
Another icon appears in the Action Bar if there are additional notifications
about certain student conditions such as medical issues. Notifications
are setup in the Student Notifications screen and the Custody field is
set up on the Other Info tab of the Student screen.
The second line, displayed below the names of tabs, is specific
to Student screen and can be edited in this screen. It shows the
student’s last name, first name, middle name, suffix, Perm ID, grade and
gender. The Perm ID is the unique number assigned to the student
in Synergy SIS. It is not the same as the state student ID number.
