PRESCHOOL STUDENTS

• If the student is in grade Preschool, the Least Restrictive Environment can be selected for both preschool services and elementary services.

• Click Pre School and select the appropriate LRE statement.

• Select the appropriate LRE statement from the Elementary and Secondary drop-down list.

ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY STUDENTS

• Select the appropriate LRE statement from Elementary and Secondary .

Under Rationale for LRE selection:

• Click the first and select the appropriate statement . This will populate the textbox below which can be edited.

• Use to spellcheck.

• Use   for more space.

• Select if the services will be provided at the neighborhood school or not using the drop-down statement box. If No is selected, an additional box displays asking for an explanation of why.

• Click the next drop-down and select the appropriate statement regarding the Potential harmful effects of the placement. This will populate the textbox below which can be edited.

• Click the next drop-down and select the appropriate statement regarding the Explanation to what extent the student will not participate ....... This will populate the textbox below which can be edited.
