Mass Assign House And Team

Confirm focus is set to new school year.
Select House OR select Team to mass assign.

House

Click House and select.
Check Modify Only If Blank. (Optional) If checked, only student records with nothing in Schedule House within Schedule Request will be modified. If not checked, all student records will be updated.

Team

Click Team and select.
Check Modify Only If Blank. (Optional) If checked, only student records with nothing in Schedule House within Schedule Request will be modified. If not checked, all student records will be updated.

Optional Filters

Following optional filters may be used to determine which student records will be updated during this process.

Check one of the three Grade Filter options for student selection.
- Exclude students in selected filter.
- Include students in selected filter.
- Not Used means filter is not referenced.
Check Grade (s) if Exclude or Include is selected as filter option. Check to select all.
Click Gender and select.
Click on Students bar to select individual students to be processed. Chooser screen opens.
Enter partial or complete data on any white field.
Click . Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.
Click anywhere on appropriate student record to highlight.
Press CTRL down while clicking records to select multiple records at a time.
Click .

OR

Click . This will move all records found in Find Result column to Selected Items column.

Multiple searches may be made until all records have been found and added to Selected Items column.

Check to delete an undesired record from Selected Items column, if needed.
Click . This will close Chooser screen and student records selected will be listed in Students grid.
Click or apply additional filters on Additional Filters tab.

Click Low Period and select.
Check Modify Only If Blank. (Optional) If checked, only student records with nothing in Low Period will be modified. If not checked, all student records will be updated.

Click High Period and select.
Check Modify Only If Blank. (Optional) If checked, only student records with nothing in High Period will be modified. If not checked, all student records will be updated.

Mass Assign House And Team

Options:

Use the Options tab to assign a house and/or team to a group of students or to define period restrictions for selected students.

Tasks

NOTE:

House and Team may rollover during the NYR process, depending upon the options selected during the process.

The House and Team that was rolled over may be mass cleared from the student record.

Copy Option Set option to copy last year’s schedule will copy the House and Team within Section.

House and Team are defined in House/Team/Exclusion tab of School Scheduling Options.

NOTE:

Only process Period Restrictions if necessary, for unusual situations. There is no need to process if all students will be scheduled for all periods indicated within School Setup.

Mass assign groups for Period Restrictions are not saved.

Period Restrictions may be set for individual students within Schedule Request.
