Requests:
Use Requests tab to add/edit student course requests.
Tasks
Maintain Student Requests
Confirm focus is set to new school year.
Click
Preferred Term
and select.
Click
Term Override
and select.
Click
in
Teacher
field to select preferred staff. Find: Staff screen displays.
Enter partial or complete data on any field on screen.
Click
. Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.
Click line of staff record desired. Record highlights.
Click again. Find: Staff screen closes and
Teacher
name displays in grid.
Click
in
Alternate Course
field to select alternate course. Find: Course screen displays.
Enter partial or complete data on any field on screen.
Click
. Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.
Click line of course record desired. Record highlights.
Click again. Find: Course screen closes and Alternate Course displays in grid.
Check
Pre-Req Not Required
to indicate that prerequisite for requested course is not required for scheduling.
Check
Course Request Lock
to secure course request from being deleted, easily.
Click
on Alternates for Electives bar to select alternates for elective (low) priority course requests. Chooser screen displays.
Enter partial or complete data on any white field.
Click
. Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.
Click anywhere on appropriate course record to highlight.
Press CTRL down while clicking records to select multiple records at a time.

. This will move all records found in Find Result column to Selected Items column.
Multiple searches may be made until all records have been found and added to Selected Items column.
Check
to delete an undesired record from Selected Items column, if needed.

. This will close Chooser screen and course records selected will be listed in Alternates for Electives grid.

Add Course Requests
Add By Group
Click
Add by Group
and select group. Course requests are added to Student Request grid.
Schedule Request
Click
on Student Request grid to add course requests. Chooser screen displays.
Enter partial or complete data on any white field.
Click
. Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered
Click anywhere on appropriate course record to highlight.
Press CTRL down while clicking records to select multiple records at a time.
