District Discipline Code Setup

Overview:

The District Discipline Code Setup screen defines the discipline code structure for Discipline Incident. There are three levels of definition available.

Level 1 – Primary Discipline Code or Category

Level 2 – Secondary Discipline Code or Violation

Level 3 – Violation Detail

Example:

Level 1 – Weapons/Dangerous Items

Level 2 – Dangerous Items

    Level 3 – Letter Opener

    Level 3 – Laser Pointer

    Level 3 – Mace/Pepper Spray

Level 2 – Firearms

    Level 3 – Shotgun/Rifle

    Level 3 – Starter Gun/Pistol

Security Levels

Up to 5 security levels may be configured for discipline and conference codes. They range in value from Lowest to Highest.  Each user or user group is assigned a security level.

Lowest

Low

Medium

High

Highest

Levels are cumulative.  For example, if a user has a Medium level of security they can see all discipline codes set to Lowest, Low or Medium.  They cannot see discipline codes set to High or Highest. Only Level 1 codes may be assigned security levels. See Related Topics for more information.
