Click Discipline Security and select Lowest, Low, Medium, High or Highest.
Levels are cumulative. If user group has a Medium level of security, they can see all discipline codes set to Lowest, Low or Medium but cannot see discipline codes set to High or Highest.
Click Discipline Organization Security and select one of below.
View All– Obey Organization Security - Depends on access level of user group to other schools’ information. If user group has access to other schools they will see discipline in other schools’ information.
Current Organization Only – User group will see only discipline events in current school and cannot see discipline events at other schools
View All – Disregard Organization Security - User group will see all discipline incidents regardless of school and regardless of their access to that school’s data.
Click Conference Visitation and select Lowest, Low, Medium, High or Highest to set level for conference security for all users in group.
Click Allow Override of Max Students in Class and select Yes to allow users to add a student to a section even if there are no spaces available.
Click TeacherVUE Administrator and select Yes if users in group will manage TeacherVUE.
When user group is designated as TeacherVUE administrator, all functions are present in TeacherVUE software. Difference is that user in group can select any teacher’s class instead of just classes for which user is teaching.
*Special Education settings are for Synergy SE software.
*Click Exempt From Student Teamand select.
*Click Systemwide Case Manager and select.
Click Grade Book Security and select one from below.
District User - User group are teachers that should only have access to their classes,
District Admin - User group can update and change district-wide settings for Grade Book,
Principal - User group can see all classes.

Enter Time, in minutes, of inactivity before a lock screen is shown and will require the user to login to regain access.
Enter Time, in minutes, of inactivity before all child windows are closed, pending changes not committed and user is returned to a login screen
Check Exclude From PAD and BO Security screens if appropriate.
Set Default Entry Access Times for user group to define access time to Synergy SIS.
Click Enabled on day and select Yes.
Enter Begin time in HH:MM AM/PM.
Enter End time in HH:MM AM/PM.
Users cannot log on to Synergy SIS on that day if Enabled is set to No.
Click to select groups for this user group to administer, if appropriate. Chooser screen opens.
Enter all or part of User Group Name.
Click . Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.
Click anywhere on appropriate record to highlight. Multiple groups may be selected by holding down CTRL key while clicking on group names.
Click .
OR
Click . This will move all records found in Search Results column to Selected Items column.
Check on line of User Group Name to remove from Selected Items grid.
Click to perform additional searches.
Click when all desired User Group Names display in Selected Items grid. Chooser screen closes and User Group Names display.
