Announcement Tree

Locate Organization Site for Announcement

• Click next to district name to expand Announcement tree.

• Click name of school group to create/edit announcement for all schools in that group. Announcements tab displays.

OR

  Click  next to school group to display individual schools in that group.

• Click name of school to create/edit announcement. Announcement tab displays.

Add New Announcement

• Click . Announcement Detail view opens.

• Type Display Date (MM/DD/YY) or click and select date

• Type Expire Date (MM/DD/YY) or click and select date

• Select Urgency .

• Edit Announcement text.

• • Click for additional space

  • Click to spell check

Add User Groups

• Click  on User Groups bar to add additional groups to view announcement. (Accessed based on security.) Find: RevUserGroup view opens.

• Enter partial or complete data in User Group Name

Tip

An asterisk (*) wildcard can be used as a substitute for any or all characters.

• Click  . Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.

• Click anywhere on appropriate record to highlight.

• Click . RevUserGroup view closes.

OR

Click on User Groups bar to add multiple groups at one time. Chooser view opens.

• Enter partial or complete data in User Group Name

• Click . Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.

• Click anywhere on appropriate record to highlight.

• Hold shift key down and continue to click on any additional User Groups

• Click   to add highlighted rows.

OR

Click  to add all.

• Click . Chooser view closes.

• Click .

• Type (MM/DD/YY) or click  and select Expire Date to change.

• Edit Announcement text.

• • Click for additional space

  • Click   to spell check

• Check to delete announcement
