Goal Library
General:
The Goal Library contains goal statements that can be added to the IEP. Goals can derive from state standards. The existing goal statements can be edited or removed and new goal statements can be added to the Goal Library.
Tasks
Edit Existing Goal
Click
.
Enter search criteria in any yellow field.
Click
. The desired goal displays.
Edit any white field.
Click
on the Benchmarks bar to add a benchmark, if desired.
Click

Add New Goal
Click
. A new Goal Library screen opens.
Enter the
Goal Number.
Click
Subject Area
and select.
Enter a
Key Word
and
Description
for the goal. Use
to check spelling and
for more space.
Enter
State
and
District Standards
information, if appropriate.
Check the
Applicable Disabilities.
Check the
Applicable Grades
.
For both of the above, more than one selection is permissible.
Use the Other section to address areas not available above or to further define the goal.
Click
on the Benchmarks bar.
Enter the Description of the benchmark.
Use
to check spelling and
for more space.
Click
.
Delete Goal
Click
.
Enter search criteria in any yellow field.
Click
. The desired goal displays.

. A confirmation message displays.
