The TeacherVUE tab of the School Setup screen configures the global grading and attendance security in TeacherVUE. The ability to capture lunch counts by homeroom and generate a report for food services use is configured on this tab, in addition to configuring the Discipline Incident referral default person..
Click Primary Staff and select desired security level. Security can be set to either None for no access to attendance records, View Only to view the records but not change them, or Update to allow the staff to change the attendance.
Click Additional Staff and select desired security level.
On Global Grading Security grid
Click Primary Staff and select desired security level. Security can be set to either None for no access to grading records, View Only to view the records but not change them, or Update to allow the staff to change the grades.
Click Additional Staff and select desired security level.
NOTE: Prior to starting, verify Homeroom Period value is set (Basic Info tab), and save changes, if necessary.
Check Take Lunch Counts for Homeroom Classes.
NOTE: Checking Take Lunch Count for Homeroom Classes will activate a new icon in each homeroom class for option to take lunch counts. Un-check this option to turn off this feature.
Enter Lunch Description 1.

Navigate to Schedule>>Report>>List>>STU420 – Lunch Count Totals.
