The Grade Setup tab is used to set up Next Grade and Years Until Graduation information. It includes a drop-down for ADA Group and Graduation Grade. The Grade is populated from the lookup table for Grade in Synergy SIS>System>Setup>Lookup Table Definition>K12>Grade and is populated with the description. The Grade Setup tab lists the grade levels available at the district. Synergy SIS lists all grade levels from pre-schools through grade 12+ by default.
The TeacherVUE tab sets the number of days previous to today for which a teacher can take attendance in TeacherVUE, and turns the email messaging function on and off in TeacherVUE.
The Labels tab sets the default label definition to be used when printing report cards. The label definitions needs to be defined first. The default grading label may also be set at the school level.
The Auto-Sequence tab allows administrators to adjust the next number in a field that is automatically assigned a number by Synergy SIS. Examples of auto-numbered fields include the Badge Number assigned to staff or the SIS number assigned to students. After a conversion, check this table to make sure the next number in a file is the next highest number to be used.
