Grading Setup

Data Range Defaults determine which grade periods display on report card.

• Click Starting Grading Period and select.

• Click Ending Grading Period and select.

• Select same grading period in both to display that one grading period and no other.

NOTE: Be sure all grading periods selected will fit on one page so report card can be mailed, easily.

• If  finished with Report Card Options, click .

Mailing Defaults specify mailing address and return address printed on report card.

• Click Destination and select either Student Print Address or Parent/Guardian Print Address.

• Click Return Address and select either District Name and District Address, District Name and School Address, or School Name and School Address.

• If  finished with Report Card Options, click .

GPA Defaults determine GPA definitions printed on report card. Up to three GPA definitions can be displayed.

• Click 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd GPA and select..  

• Click 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd GPA Mark s and select. Current grade period works best or leave blank to include all.

• Click Start Grade and End Grade s for each definition to determine grade range to include in calculation.

• If  finished with Report Card Options click

Graduation Requirement Defaults specify which graduation requirements definition to display on report card.

• Click 1st grad Req and select.

Use Filter 1 and Filter 2 to prevent graduation requirements from printing on certain students report cards.

• Click Condition and select (Grad Year, Instructional Settings, etc.)

• Click Operator and select either Equal To, In List, or Not Equal To.

• Enter Value.

Example:   Exclude class of 2012

Condition = Grad Year, Operator = Equal To, Value = 2012

• If  finished with Report Card Options, click .

These options control what is displayed in columns of course listing section.

• Click Show Citizenship and select either Code or Description. This is for Citizenship, Conduct, Effort & Work Habits columns,

• Check Abbreviate Course Title. Course Short Title  from District Course screen is used instead of Course Title.

• Check Abbreviate Teacher Name. Report card displays teacher last name followed by first initial. If unchecked, full first name is displayed.

These options control what is displayed in Title box on inside page.

• Enter District Name Override. Text entered is displayed instead of district name entered in Organization screen.

• Enter Title Override. Text entered is displayed instead of default title, Report Card.

When folded, back outside page of report card has two boxes for displaying additional information. This information is entered in Left Header & Content, and Right Header & Content.

• Click   to spell check.

• Click for additional space.

• Check any Suppressed and Additional Content Areas to turn sections of report card content off.

• Check Show Credits Attempted and/or Show Credits Completed if credits attempted and credits completed for each class are displayed.

• If  finished with Report Card Options, click .

• Enter custom column width in inches, if desired.  

• If  finished with Report Card Options, click .
