Save Query

• Enter a short Name for query.

• Click Group . Select group to assigned to query. Group is used to categorize queries to make them easier to find in a long list.  

Default Type of query is Select, which indicates this query will show information from Synergy SIS database.  It can be changed, but this is NOT recommended.  Update, Delete or Insert make direct changes to the database and should only be attempted by experienced users.

• Output Type displays default output format for query. It can be changed to any of  following:

TIFF Image is a graphics file.

CSV is a comma-separate values file.

Excel is a Microsoft Excel version 1997-2003 format file.

HTML is a web page in the standard Synergy SIS format.

PDF is a Portable Document Format for Adobe Reader.

Rich Text is a document file, basically Microsoft Word format.

Text File is a plain text file with no formatting, in tab-delimited format.

XML is an extensible markup language file.

• Check Nominate For Public if you wish to have this query reviewed by your district for others to use.
