Install Online Help

Synergy SIS online help is located under the _Release folder on Edupoint FTP.  The latest version is in the folder marked Complete Current Installation. The folder contains help files in the ZIP file, and a PDF containing these installation instructions.

• Download ZIP file to the web server on which the help files will be installed.

• Create a new folder titled 'Help' in the root of the location where Synergy SIS is installed on the web server. Typically this is 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot'.

• Extract contents of  zip file into the root of the new Help folder.

• ZIP file may be deleted from the server to save space after extraction, if desired.

• Navigate to Synergy SIS > System > Setup> Options tab.

• Enter Help/GENESIS Help List.htm in Help Page.

• Click .

NOTE: If the district has multiple web servers, be sure to install the Help folder and files on each server.  The location of the folder must be the same on each server.
