PAD Security

• Click View Access  and select option. Table below describes View Access field menu options. Global default permits view access.

• Click Report Access and select option. Table below describes Report Access field menu options. Global default permits view access.

• Click Audit Access and select option. Table below describes Audit Access field menu options. Global default permits view access.

NOTE: You must also check Enable  and select Default Audit Option field menu on Audit Trail group box of  Security Definition view to activate availability of Change Record view. Use Change Record view to review changes to the data in a specific record.

• Click .

• Click next to User Name. Find Foreign Key view opens.

• Enter partial or complete data in any field. An asterisk (*) wildcard can be used as a substitute for any or all characters.

• Click . View displays a list of records matching criteria entered.

• Click line number of appropriate record to highlight

• Click .

• Click .

• Click next to the appropriate product (Synergy SIS or Synergy SE) to expand PAD tree and find node to display.

• Click on name of appropriate node to highlight. Grid displays node name and additional fields.

• Click View Substitution . A list of views that can be substituted for view that is highlighted in PAD Tree displays.

• Select appropriate view from list.

OR

Select blank row at top of list to restore original view to match highlighted name in the PAD Tree.

• Click .

• Click next to the appropriate product (Synergy SIS or Synergy SE)  to expand PAD tree and find report to display.

• Click on name of appropriate report to highlight. Grid displays name and additional fields.

• Click Report Substitution . A list of reports that can be substituted for report that is highlighted in PAD Tree displays.

• Select appropriate report from list.

OR

Select blank row at top of list to restore original report to match highlighted name in the PAD Tree.

• Click . Report Interface view for the substituted report displays.

• Select appropriate report configurations.

• Click .
