Objective Setup

Objective Performance Levels:

An objective-based test tracks student scores based on defined objectives covered in test. A test created by a teacher to measure a student’s progress towards meeting a state standard for math such as “Compare and order real numbers” would be considered an objective-based test. Questions that address each objective are mapped in test definition so that performance on each objective can be tracked. Objectives need to be defined in Synergy SIS before an objective-based test definition can be created. Use Objective Setup view to define objectives.

Click . Objective Setup displays. Green fields are mandatory.
Enter Description of objective.
Click .

Once objective is saved, Performance Levels that are tracked for each objective can be defined.

Click on Performance Levels bar to add a new level.
Click Performance Level and select. Performance Levels are district-defined, and could be a marks list or a list of below or above standards.
Enter Default Mastery %. This is percentage of questions that need to be correct to attain this performance level.
Repeat steps to add additional levels.
