User Groups

• Click New User Groups screen opens.

• Enter User Group Name

• Click Virtual Root Node and select, if needed. Virtual Root Node is level of organization, such as Elementary Schools, to which this group is added. All groups are added to top district level, by default.

• Enter Name of user group in LDAP (if synching with LDAP) if using LDAP Authentication. Group can be mapped to a group in LDAP Directory.

• Click .

• Type User Group Name or find using .

• Click . Chooser screen opens.

• Enter all or part of user’s Last Name, First Name, Middle Name, Email, and/or Login Name,

• Click . Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.

• Click anywhere on appropriate record to highlight. Multiple names may be selected by holding down CTRL key while clicking on user names.

• Click .

OR

• Click . This will move all records found in Search Results column to Selected Items column.

• Check   on line of User Name to remove from Selected Items grid.

• Click   to perform additional searches.  

• Click   when all desired User Names display in Selected Items grid. Chooser screen closes and User Names display on Members grid.

• Check  on line of User Name to remove from grid.

• Click .
