Use Navigation Menu tab to add and edit groups, screens, and reports associated with Navigation Menu. Navigation Menu is custom tool bar that displays at left of screen. Navigation menus created for user group or user, show a Lock symbol next to name of menu group. Multiple menu groups may be created. If user belongs to more than one group and uses Navigation Menu for more than one group, all of menu groups for all of user groups selected will display. Groups created by user will always display above menu groups created for user groups.
Use the Options tab to change a user group’s Point of View (POV) Home Page. Default POV (Point of View) Home Page is screen that first loads when logging on to Synergy SIS. This page displays any announcements that are available, and can also show dashboard widgets and task list. For some user groups that have one primary function when using Synergy SIS, it may be helpful to change home page for that user group to primary screen group uses such as teachers for TeacherVUE.
