Click User Type and select different account type, if appropriate.
Check Force Password Change on Next Login to force password change when login to new account.
Check Exempt From LDAP, if appropriate, for districts using LDAP logins to Synergy SIS (as setup in System Configuration screen). This can be helpful for Synergy SIS system accounts that do not have a corresponding account in LDAP system.
Enter Address. Changes to this information reflect in Staff and User screen for account.
Click on Phone Number grid. A new line is added to grid. Changes to this information reflect in Staff and User screen for account.
Check Primary, if appropriate.
Click Type and select
Type Phone number
Type Extension, if appropriate.
Check Contact to use number to contact user.
Check Listed if number is in directory and not private.
Check on line of number to delete.
Click Default Mode .
Select Inquiry. In Inquiry mode all screens are set to read-only. User can edit records by clicking on Edit button at top of screen, but are switched back to read-only mode when they change to a new screen. Inquiry mode can help prevent accidental edits to records, but can add an extra step for data entry personnel who constantly edit records.

Select Edit. Edit mode opens screens for updating, an efficient mode for data entry personnel.
Enter Paging Size number that determines pages displayed at bottom of search. Default is 15.
Enter Paging Row Size number that determines amount of records displayed on one page of Chooser or Find screens. Default is 20.
Check Show Quick Launch to allow user to type in name of screen or report instead of clicking on a menu option.
Debug Expiration (Hours from Now) – Default is off. A value of 0 turns it off. If a particular user is experiencing errors, logging can be turned on by increasing value in Debug Expiration field. This should not be turned on without consulting Edupoint support team.
Click to change default logon screen. This can be set at User Group level.
User Creation Date displays date and time user account was created.
Last Login Date displays date and time user last logged into Synergy SIS.
