Dashboard Control

Use Options tab to create various Dashboard Widgets. A Dashboard Widget is a graphical reporting tool designed to track student data trends. These widgets appear on Synergy SIS home page to give users an overview of different trends occurring in either school or district. Widgets can track enrollments by day, attendance patterns, or grades. They can also link to external sources of web-based information such as images or RSS feeds.

Use Advanced tab to specify how often a widget is updated.

Once a Dashboard Widget has been created and saved, use Rules tab to select colors for data points in graph.

Use Subscribed Users tab to see which users are using a particular widget and to add or remove users to a widget.

Administrators can add widgets to user home pages through either User screen or Dashboard Control screen, Subscribed Users tab. On Dashboard Control screen, administrators can see which users are using a particular widget and add or remove users to a widget. Widgets added here display at top of the home pages since widget order cannot be set in Dashboard Control screen.
