Go to Synergy SIS>>System>>Setup>>School Scheduling Options.
Click on Meeting Days grid for each day in period rotation. For example, if there were 4 days in rotation, click 4 times and enter 4 meeting days.
Enter Code for each day.
Enter Description for each day.
Click .
Go to Synergy SIS>>Attendance>>Setup>>Period Rotation.

Setup Rotation Days
Enter Number of Days in Cycle.
For example, if periods change every other day, number of days would be 2. If periods change every day until 5th day and 5th day is same as 1st day, number of days would be 4.
Click . Rotation Definition section is automatically filled in with a Day Code for each day in cycle.
Click Schedule Code and assign meeting days created in School Scheduling Options screen to each day in cycle.
Click .
Rotation Periods tab
Click to set a non-rotating schedule where each period is at same time every day in cycle.
OR
Click to set up a rotating schedule.
Either default distribution can be manually edited to adjust rotation.
Click once schedule is finished.
Go to Synergy SIS>>Attendance>>Setup>> School Calendar screen to assign each rotation day a specific date in school calendar.
Check Fill Rotating Days Skipping Over Holidays to have rotation automatically assigned to calendar, with rotation skipping over holidays.
Click . Meeting day codes from Period Rotation Definition screen are filled into Rot column for each date, automatically.
OR
Check Fill Rotating Days Holidays Count As Rotation Day to have rotation assigned to the calendar automatically, with holidays counting as a rotation day.
Click . Meeting day codes from Period Rotation Definition screen are filled into Rot column for each date, automatically.
Click to set up a different rotation for part of year. Set Default Rotation Calendar screen displays.
Enter Start Date (MM/DD/YY) or click and select date.
Click Rotation Code and select when to start rotation.
Select Rotation Default. (No Fill option clears rotation.)
Click to fill in calendar.
Once rotation is filled in, click in Rot to manually edit.
