ParentVUE and StudentVUE School Configuration

• Check Disable OCR for this school if desired.

• Type Greeting  or copy and paste it from another source. This is designed to give students and parents information about school and district policies for course requests. It may be helpful to mention open and close dates for requests, to inform parents how requests are processed, and to include any relevant dates.

• Type Search Page Message or copy and paste it from another source. This provides information about what courses are available for selection and how to search for a course.

• • Click for additional space.

  • Click    to spell check.

Standard HTML code can also be used for additional formatting options.

Signify the time frame that course requests will be available for editing.

• Type Open Request Window date (MM/DD/YY) or click and select date.

• Type Close Request Window date (MM/DD/YY) or click and select date.

Grade Level Time Window Override

• Click . A new line opens.

• Click Grade and select grade

• Complete Request Window Open and Close dates

• Check Disable Request Option for Grade Level, if desired.

Minimum Credit and Minimum Class Count could be mandatory depending on the value selected in Minimum Selection Type  and Additional Options

• Click Minimum Selection Type and select

If Course Request Count selected above,

• Enter Minimum Class Count

If Course Credit selected above,

• Enter Minimum Credit

• Enter Maximum Requests

If Course Credit selected above, it is recommended to check Show Graduation Requirement Credit Grid in Additional Options

Additional Options

• Enter Alternate Minimum number of course requests required to be selected

• Enter Alternate Maximum number of course requests required to be selected

• Select Request Type .

• Choose All, Core Only, Elective Only or Non-Core courses.

• Select Registration Type and select either Course or Class.

Password could become mandatory based on Setting selected

• Select Setting   choose Monitored Requires Password to monitor registration.

• • Enter Password.

If the registration is not monitored,

• Select Unmonitored.

Property Order

• Click . A new line opens.

• Enter Field Order number

• Select Property and select matching property. Continue for each property desired.

• Click .
