Locker Mass Assignment

• Click . A new Locker Mass Assignment screen displays.

• Enter Name for definition.

• Click Process Type and select either Assign Students to Lockers or Clear Locker Assignments.

• Click or click to cancel operation without adding a new definition.

• Click Reserved Status and select Ignore Reserved Status, Use Only Reserved Lockers or Don’t Use Reserved Lockers. Reserved lockers are not assigned if nothing is selected.

• Check Only process student without a locker assignment to assign lockers to new students, only.

• Assign students only one locker is checked by default. Uncheck to have process assign more than one locker to a student.

• Click Student Order and select order in which students are assigned a locker. Select either Alpha A-Z, Alpha Z-A or Random. A-Z order by student’s last name is used if nothing is selected.

• Click Locker Assignment Order and select order lockers are matched to a student. Select either Low to High, High to Low, or Random.  

• Check Treat Locker Number as Numeric if locker numbers entered are all numeric.

Additional Filter Options

• Click Gender and select.

• Click Grade and select.

• Enter Locker Range Restriction numbers low to high to choose specific group of lockers assigned.

• Click Locker Type and select.

• Click Counselor and select.

• Click if all criteria defined. Defined criteria will be applied to all students at school in focus.

OR

Process specific selected students.

• Click . Chooser screen displays.

• Enter partial or complete data on any field.

OR

An asterisk (*) wildcard can be used as a substitute for any or all characters in fields on screen

• Click or press ENTER. Search Results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.

• Click anywhere on appropriate record to highlight.

• Press CTRL down while clicking records to select multiple records at a time.

• Click ,

OR

Click . This will move all records found in Search Results grid to Selected Items grid.

• Multiple searches may be made until all students have been found and added to Selected Items grid.

• Check  on line of record to remove from Selected Items grid, if needed.

• Click . This will close Chooser screen and records selected will be listed in screen.

• Click .

• Click to run process. Job Queue displays progress. Message from webpage displays results.

• Click . Job Result screen displays a list of process logs.

• Click Locker Assignment Error Log to see a list of errors.

• Click Locker Assignment Processed Log to see a list of students with assigned locker numbers.

• Click . Locker Mass Assignment: Find Result displays a list of definitions.

• Click line number of definition desired.

• Click again. Locker Mass Assignment: Find Result closes and definition is displayed.

• Click Menu and select Edit LockerMassAssign Data

• All white fields are editable.

• Click to save or to cancel operation without saving changes.

• Click to delete a Locker Mass Assignment definition.
