Use the SASIxp* Setup screen to add, edit, and delete field mapping
information between the Synergy™Student Information System software and
SASIxp educational software.
Use Field Mapping to add, edit, and delete field mapping information
between the Synergy™Student Information System software and SASIxp educational
software when a school district has used a field in SASIxp for a purpose
other than its original intent.
In Field Mapping grid, identify SASIxp source file, related field
and target Synergy SIS Business Object. SASIxp Conversion software
application will use field mapping information to override default
conversion location for specified fields.
If data in source SASIxp Field Name field contains no value
(blank) and district wants to have a value entered into corresponding
field in Synergy SIS, enter a value in Default Value field.
If source SASIxp Field Name field contains a value that comes from
a lookup table list and Synergy SIS contains a similar lookup table
list, check Is Lookup? When
running SASIxp Conversion software application, application assigns
Alt Code 1 value in Synergy SIS lookup table.
Adding Field Mapping Properties
Click focus
Select district name and school year
Click .
Click on the
right edge of Field Mapping Rules box.
Read rules contained within
Click on Field
Mapping Grid. A new row is added to grid.
Type appropriate SASIxp
File Name.
Click Line field of the appropriate grid row. The software
highlights the grid row.
Click .
Click Name field . Find
Foreign Key screen opens
If known, enter Namespace
and/or Name.
Click .
Click Line field of appropriate Namespace name.
Click .
Click Synergy SIS BO Property Name .
Select appropriate Business Object name
Enter SASIxp Field Name
(exact name of field) associated with SASIxp file
In Field Mapping grid, identify SASIxp source file, related field

application will use field mapping information to override default
