A student must be withdrawn (inactivated) from your school before they
can enroll or transfer to a new school. These directions guide you through
the process of withdrawing a student who has attended classes this year
from your school.
NOTE: If a student has been
enrolled in your school but never attended classes this year, the student
must be marked as a No Show within the system.
Make sure Focus is set to Active Only or Active
and Inactive. Otherwise, student name will not display. Current
Focus is listed at top right-hand corner of screen.
Adjust Focus:
Click on Focus
area. Select Focus screen displays.
Click Show Inactive Students and select Show Active Only or Active
and Inactive.
Click . Select
Focus screen closes and Student screen is displayed.
Type Last Name, First
Name and Birth Date
(MMDDYY) or click and
select date.
OR
Type Perm
ID.
Click or press
ENTER. Student record displays.
Click Menu and
select Inactivate Student.
Inactivate Student screen displays.
Type LeaveDate (MMDDYY) or click and select date.
Click Leave Code and select code definition
that describes this type of withdrawal.
Click Withdrawal Reason
Code and select
reason.
Check Drop Classes On
Inactivation. (optional)
Click . Inactivate
Student screen closes and student is withdrawn.
