District Disposition Code Setup

Click District Disposition Code Setup screen displays. Green fields are mandatory.
Enter Disposition Code. This does not have to be same as code used at state.
Type a name for code in Description.
Enter assigned State Code if disposition will be reported to state.
Check Report to State if disposition must be reported to state.
Enter Old SIS Code if data will be converted from a previous student information system.
Check Mandatory if all schools in district should use this code.
Click .

Add District Level 2 Disposition Code

Find Level 1 code for which to add new Level 2 code.

Enter partial or complete data on any yellow field.
Click . Search results displays a list of records matching criteria entered.
Click line number twice of appropriate Level 1 code. Search results closes and District Disposition Code Setup screen is populated with Level 1 code.
Click on Disposition Codes grid. A new line is added to grid. Multiple codes may be added at one time.
Enter a Disposition Code to use for type of disposition.
Type name of code in Description.
Enter assigned State Code if disposition will be reported to state.
Click .

If State Code was entered

Check Report To State.
Click .

Add District Level 3 Disposition Code

Click .
Click line of desired Level 2 code to insert Level 3 code. Selected code is highlighted.
Click on Detail 1 Codes grid. Multiple codes may be added at one time.
Enter Disposition Code to be used for type of disposition.
Type a name for code in Description.
Enter assigned State Code if violation will be reported to state.
Check Report to State if violation must be reported to state.
Click .

Edit Code

Click and choose to edit a Level 1 Code.
Edit directly on white fields.
Click .

Delete Code

Delete Level 1 Code

NOTE: All levels below must be deleted first. No student disposition records may be using this code.

Click . A warning prompt displays.
Click to delete.

OR

to close prompt and return.

Delete Level 2 Code

NOTE: All levels below must be deleted first. No student disposition records may be using this code.

Check on line of code to delete.

District Disposition Code Setup

Disposition Codes:

District Disposition Code Setup screen defines the disposition code structure for Discipline Incident. Disposition codes categorize the action taken with regards to an incident and are defined in District and School Disposition Code views. There are three levels of definition available.

Level 1 – Primary Disposition Code

Level 2 – Secondary Disposition Code

Level 3 – Detail for Secondary Disposition Code .

Add District Level 1 Disposition Code
