Use the Description tab to enter a description of the course. Course descriptions are used in reports to create the course catalog. The description tab provides a way to document alignment of courses to state and national standards, as well.
Click Subject Area and select area assigned for national course standards.
Click Course Level and select.
Click Course Code and select from national standards that best meets content of course.
Enter Sequence number of course. If course is part of a multi-course series, such as Theater Arts I, II, and III, sequence number is part number of course.
Enter Available Credit a student can earn by passing this course
Click Subject Area and select area assigned to this course for state course standards. This list can be customized by district.
Check appropriate Course Levels such as honors or remedial for state course standards. This list can be customized by district.
Click Standard Addressed and select type of standard addressed by this course such as national or state. This list can be customized by district.
Check Grad Requirement Indicator if course is required for graduation.
Check End of Course Indicator if this is last course in a series, such as second semester of a year-long course.
Check AP Indicator if this course qualifies as an Advanced Placement course.
Check IB if this course meets International Baccalaureate qualifications.
Enter College Code if this course is a college-level course.
Enter College Course Code used by college.
Enter College Course Credits earned by passing course.
