Student Conference tab lists all conference records that have been entered at current school during current year. Add and edit a student conference on this tab..There are two ways to add a conference record. Use Add to create a quick record. Additional details are added after record is saved. Use Add Wizard to enter a detailed record of all information in one screen.
Required fields are Description, Meeting Date, and Staff Name.
Description – Code assigned to conference to categorize meeting for reporting and analyzing trends. This is referred to as Conference Code. It can also set security for type of conference. Security may be configured so that only certain staff members may see certain types of conference records, based on code selected here. Codes used are defined in Conference Visitation Code screen.
Meeting Date – Date conference occurred.
Enter MM/DD/YY or click and select date.
Referred By & Referral Date – Person who referred student to conference and date they made referral. This person does not need to be a staff member, and name is entered in free form text.

Staff Name – Name of staff member who handled disciplinary process with student.
Follow Up Date – Date on which staff member needs to follow up regarding an action item or items discussed in conference.
Enter MM/DD/YY or click and select date.
Notification Date – Date on which staff member needs to notify the parent or student regarding an action item from conference.
Enter MM/DD/YY or click and select date.
Comment – Notes provide a detailed description of incident that occurred. This comment will display in ParentVUE and StudentVUE.
