Report Card Preview

• Select Grading Period and Select Student. The Calculated Mark (which can be overridden), the Report Card Mark (the mark currently on the students report card), the Total Points Earned/Total Points Possible (%), and each class’ Total Points Earned/Total Points Possible (%) are displayed for each report card area.

View assignments used to calculate final grade

• Click Report Card Item to view assignments/scores used in final grade calculation.

Exclude selected classes from final grade calculation

• Select Student

• Click the box corresponding to the class/report card area to exclude. The box turns pink, indicating it is excluded, and the Total Points calculation changes.

Override Calculated Mark

The final mark displayed on the Report Card Preview screen is the system-calculated score. You can override the final mark by entering another.  

• Select the desired mark for the report card item from Calculate Mark.

• Check Overwrite next to the report card mark.

• Click . The overwritten grade appears on the student’s report card.

Transfer marks to report card

• Click to transfer marks for selected student only.

    OR

Click to transfer marks for all students in selected class.

A confirmation message will appear at top of screen.

NOTE: Marks must be transferred, by student, if any calculated marks are overridden on this screen. Transferred marks can be edited in Report Card screen.
