Curriculum Templates

These directions are for creating a lesson plan template, but any type of curriculum template could be used.

• Click New Template. Curriculum Templates screen opens.

• Enter a Template Name that identifies the template as a Lesson Plan template. This could be subject oriented such as, “Science Lesson Plan” or grade level oriented, “Elementary Lesson Plan”, or just “Lesson Plan”.

• Decide how the template will look. Will it be a table format? Will there be images to insert?

• If needed, briefly rest the mouse cursor over the buttons to see a tooltip with the name of the function.

• To increase the size of the editing area (the empty space below the editor toolbar), click and drag the resize arrow in the bottom right corner.

Define Lesson Plan Parameters

• Enter the lesson plan component labels. See example below.

• Reformat or edit text and tables at any time.
